After an exciting fun packed day with my children and grandchildren we stopped at Outback steakhouse. The staff was friendly,efficient and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised we didn't wait long. A couple of us had drinks at the bar. I asked the bartender for a certain drink (Rum Runner) she hadn't heard of it. She searched for the ingredients and made me one. It was very good. I was pleased she went through the effort. Our waitress was friendly and extremely patient. She brought the children's food out first which we appreciated. We all had an enjoyable experience at this Outback steakhouse.
She was already busy. Maybe it the policy . Not first time I have to wait because they don't help each other out.
Food was great.
I asked for someone to help me pay my check. Man worker cam over said give it to your server . I said been waiting s long time. He went yo find her .
The blooming onion was really good which is why I’m moving it up to a 2 star review. Our server was incredibly rude. She rushed us through our meal, coming back three times in a few minutes when we told her we needed time to decide what we wanted. She asked if we wanted the check the second we took the last bite and she brought it to us with a broken pen. My boyfriend went to the bathroom at the end of the meal and overheard her talking right outside the kitchen area next to the bathrooms. “They broke my pen!” She said to another server. We did not break it, and my boyfriend stopped to let her know. We almost went to management but instead decided to post this review.
Well I tried again to have a good experience. My daughter and I went today labor day at just after 2. We had to stand and wait in a near empty restaurant a good 5 min before the hostess showed up. She seated us with menus and no one bothered to come and take even a drink order. 15 min later we got up and left. I am writing this from Applebee's where we we greeted as soon as we entered and then seated and a waitress came over after only a min or two. And they had more customers in the restaurant!
Would be nice if they work as a team . To many workers standing around. While one is over running. While waiting for Bill to check out.
I feel like it is hit or miss at this Outback. My husband and I stop most weekends on our way to the Adirondacks. We usually stop in around 7:30 on a Friday night. We rarely have to wait long for a table because most of the dinner rush has cleared out. We usually are seated right away, which is great. However, the meal itself is never consistent. We both always order steak. My husband always orders medium rare. Sometimes he gets medium, sometimes medium rare. I always order medium and sometimes I get medium well and sometimes I get well done. I almost never get medium. The manager almost always stops by to check on you, but they almost always stop well after your meal has been served. I'm always so hungry by the time arrive that I've eaten the whole steak and feel funny complaining that the steak I ordered medium came out like a hamburger. Most recently, this past Friday, our server dropped our food and never returned until she came with the check. We needed drink refills and never got them. By the time the manager stopped by we were done eating so we didn't ask for them. I don't know if everyone is burned out from the earlier rush, but they need to step it up some.
