Old fashion rollercoaster. The track is made out of wood. The line is divided up into the front and back so if you have a preference you're able to decide where you want to sit. I felt safe while riding, the lap bar was tightly in place preventing me from falling during the ride. This ride goes fast and has lots of turns and inclined and drops. It's kinda. Bumpy ride though and it can give you a headache. At the end it stops hard and if you aren't expecting it can be painful. There's a camera that takes your picture which you can purchase of you want to take home some memories.
Six flags has some good rides but most do not compare to the comet. 60 miles per hour on this wooden coaster.
What an excellent coaster. Classic, fast, good initial drop. Best ride in the park. It even had short lines.
Old storied coaster. Love that they post historical facts about the ride giving it the oldie feel and makes up for its lack of modernization. The location within the park is also beautiful. Whole family enjoyed it.
Really fun roller coaster. Much longer ride than the others in the park.
