Just this past Sunday, I went to get gas. I typically check my oil after getting gas. It was abnormally high on the dipstick. So I had my suspicions. Plus my car had been shifting funny since I had the car brought to Jiffy Lube. It would have the tendency to hover between each gear. It never did that before I brought it to Jiffy Lube. So that proves both suspicions.
After driving 45 minutes to get back there (he lives quite a bit away), they gave us a refund and offered to fix the glove compartment. Unfortunately, they STILL didn't put it back together correctly; they didn't attach the dampener cord, so instead of opening gently, it slams all the way open.
The only good thing about this place is the free car wash after. I feel ripped off. They even snookered me into getting a fuel injector cleaning, which they probably didn't or couldn't do. What a waste of $112. I don't plan on returning to this place. I need someone that I can trust. I made a huge investment with this used car and I cannot afford to take risks.
I heard good things about this place. They'll top off all your fluids with your oil change, and give you a free car wash at the end.
They have done lots of work on my Jeep over the years and I have come to trust them to do good work for a good price. Plus, they top off all fluids, vacuum the interior and wash the outside for no extra charge.
Terrible customer service and attitude from the cashier during my visit this week for an oil change. I was simply trying to access the wifi that was advertised as available and turns out it no longer is. Anything constructive from the cashier would have been helpful other than "I don't know" with attitude multiple times. She did know, it no longer works. I strongly recommend additional training on customer service skills.
If you want to spend $60+ for someone to void the warranty on your engine and waste hours of your time, Queensbury Jiffy Lube is the place to go.
My brother-in-law took his car here for an oil change on 2017-09-23. They put the warranty-voiding oil in, left his glove compartment broken (the cabin air filter is located behind it), filled his tires to the wrong PSI (including overfilling one to almost double the recommended level), said they vacuumed when they didn’t, and rummaged through his backpack.
I could not be any less satisfied with their service with my recently purchased used car. Prior to bringing my vehicle to them, I had some repairs that I needed to do at the dealership. The dealership called me earlier today and said that my transmission fluid was very low, and that my engine was overfilled by 4 quarts! They probably didn't even replace the filter or even dump the old oil!! My fuel efficiency went from 32mpg to 27mpg in just over a week.
I had oil leakage from loose oil plug after their oil change. They never topped fluids as promised. I returned for repairs of their negligence. They brought my SUV in and confirmed the oil leak. They cleaned all the messy and stinking oil off my vehicle and stopped the drain plug from leaking more. I was told everything was now fine and sent on my way. I checked the oil level outside their shop and found they never replaced the oil that had leaked out due to their poor workmanship. My SUV was brought in again, oil topped off but not all the other fluids. This simple oil change could have ruined my engine. I will never do business here again.
