At this point I'm fuming, soooooo much run around., not to mention dealing with this while i was at work.
I called the 1-800 number complaining about all this. you think they did ANYTHING?! not a single thing. dismissed my claims from Chevy, and the fact i felt I was taken advantage of.Being a young girl who knew nothing about cars, and desperately needing mine fixed. Bob (service rep at the 1-800 call center) said and i quote Bob"Id like to think they would not do such a thing'" in regards to me say i feel i was taken advantage of.

BRAVO MIDAS FOR BEING MODERN DAY CROOKS! less than half of what I was quoted at from Midas.
spent 350.00 on a rental for the week that Chevy had my car. Which could have been avoided if Midas' were honest, and got it fixed.
The crew here is the best! Always willing to go above and beyond for my car! My alternator went today at 4 pm.. it was only a few months old(put in by Midas) and I was out by 6:30.. because of the Midas warranty on parts AND service it was all covered!! These guys work really hard to make sure you know what needs to be done in order of urgency.. Always leave feeling good about the job they do!!

after almost thinking about getting a new car. I called the Chevy dealership, to quote a NEW transmission. They thought what I had told them sounded a little off. The gentleman at Chevy ask me 5 questions that debunked Midas' diagnosis. From my answers, he doubted what Midas said was the case.
Great Experiences at this location! Ian and staff have been very professional and knowledgeable during my visits. Even during my last visit, though not logged into their system, they were able to accommodate me and get me out the door by closing. Great people, great service!
Had a brake job done here. They used very cheap brakes. I'm past 5,000 miles and they still loudly squeal and my rims are completely covered in dust. Not to mention they tried to offer me multiple discounts on a timing belt change after I declined because my dealership was a grand cheaper. My emergency brake is also incredibly lose after the brake change that I roll on most of any slight incline.
We finally got the keys, i got my car that i DROVE to Chevy with (according to Midas) a blown transmission, and clutch.
my transmission had cables to be replace, and most of my clutch PLUS my battery, Speed control censor, and new battery $1,600 WORSE CASE SCENARIO.
I went there last week with my car. great people, diagnosed my car in maybe 10 minutes. They brought me under the car to show me what was wrong, said my transmission, and clutch were both gone. they quoted me at $3,500 to replace my clutch, and transmission. Along with other issues, i gave them a list of other things i needed replaced. This quote was solely for my transmission, and clutch.
These reviews saying they are great. i doubt this very much!!!
So i called Midas for my keys, sending it to Chevy. they IN FACT lost my keys to my car. Which they didn't tell us until my partner was there. remind you, we had no car so had to ask someone else to bring us there. which was a bit of an inconvenience when we left without the keys. Long story short, they just so happen to be in a acquaintances car that just so happen to be there. This somehow when I called seemed like an inconvenience TO THEM.
