I usually love the chain but this one missed the mark. Long wait in the lobby to realize the dinning room was barely busy. Carpet dirty, table sticky, service was so so. Place cleanliness was not up to my standards. If the dinning room is doubtful I can only assume the kitchen is similar so we left out of precaution without eating. I therefore can't review the food, only the restaurant. Will visit the chain again but not this franchise.
Consistency. Away from home and the local fare isn't that great. Good to see a familiar restaurant where u know what you're getting.
Large menus with daily specials.
I dont like Seaford. So I won't comment.
Clean friendly environment.
I had the all you can eat shrimp from the Shrimp Fest promotion. I love the Fettachini Alfredo with shrimp. I also like that you can switch your order to other choices when reordering.
I had dinner tonight at this location with my daughter and grand-daughter. Our server McKenzie was withdrawn, lazy, and unfriendly to say the least. We placed our orders but it wasn't until McKenzie brought our drinks and salads to the tables and quickly left did we have to call her back to ask for straws and dinnerware. All of the food came out lukewarm which we sent back to have made again. McKenzie never did apologize or inform us that she would send a manager over to speak to us. Once the food was presented the second time, piping hot I might add, she left the food and did not check on us again. In fact, she returned to our area several times but avoided our table all together. Finally, we had to ask for the check. She did NOT ask if we would like dessert, even though we did, but by that time, we just decided it was best to leave. My daughter decided she was however going to leave a tip, NOT because McKenzie had EARNED it, but because she wanted to send a strong message. The message was that we were not complaining about the food because we wanted a manager to take anything of the bill! Not did we deserve to be viewed a problematic guest unlikely to leave a tip! Possibly the reason McKenzie never felt the need to call the manager on duty over to our table. We simply wanted hot food and good service. Even though that was not our experience, the tip was to let her know we felt she judged us as problematic guest and decided she wasn't going to "waste time" on us. We recognized the cold food was the cooks error and not hers as a server but she was grossly rude in the way she handled the situation. On the way out my daughter spoke with a manager and filled him in best she could. He tried to make a mends by offering a gift card but she refused. She told him thanks to McKenzie attitude, not even a free meal would make us patronize red lobster again. If she treats all her customers like that if they complain about food temperature, they may not all be as kind and leave a tip in spite of her nasty attitude!
